Company Overview
WEB-TPA has been focused on finding a better way for 15 years now. The company was born out of a consulting practice established by former Coopers & Lybrand Actuarial, Benefits and Compensation Practice in October of 1993. Unable to identify a stable administrator that could provide the information and connectivity necessary to manage health plans for their clients, WEB-TPA was built on the premise that "there must be a better way".
Working in concert with our clients and technology partners, we have completed the development of our proprietary technology platform and have established a secure global infrastructure that can scale to meet the needs of all clients small and large. Our platform creates a paperless work from anywhere environment prized by our clients.
Today, our average client covers approximately 3,000 members. Our services that were once available to only large and sophisticated employers are now available to clients of all sizes and needs. This capability will allow us to expand our client base and further our market penetration. Purchased by AmWINS Group, Inc. in 2006, WEB-TPA is now part of the largest independent wholesale insurance organization in the country.
Our Proprietary Technology
Unlike the competition, WEB-TPA controls all of the development and operation of its proprietary administration software, the iii:put™ system.
Without changing the underlying tools that our employees utilize in serving our clients, we recognized that we would never be able to deliver the level of service we demand. Over the last ten years, over $9 million has been invested in making this conversion from a legacy environment to one built to accommodate change. Our system's focus is flexibility and customization and we can accommodate almost an infinite number of plan designs and network options.
